(PRWEB) August 2, 2005
Miss Tourism-Ethiopia 2005 Dina Fekadu has triumphed over adversity by being crowned Miss Goodwill 2005 at the Miss Tourism Intercontinental contest held in Malaysia. She contestetd with the other 30 contestants for the ultimate title of Miss Tourism Intercontinental 2005
Dina Fekadu, who was the 2nd runner up and crowned “Miss Tourism-Ethiopia 2005″ at the 2005 Miss Universe-Ethiopia pageant in March this year, was attending her first international pageant and proudly represented her country to the best of her ability and is a testament to her positive attitude and dogged determination that despite the setbacks she faced she was still able to win a title, Dina Fekadu fly?s back to Addis Ababa and can proudly hold her head high in the knowledge that she did a great job for Ethiopia, Dina now gets a few weeks rest and immediately stars her preparations for her debut at Miss International 2005 being held in Tokyo Japan at the 2005 World EXPO in September.
Miss International is the 4th biggest beauty pageant in the world, and the Ethiopian life foundation which owns the licence for Ethiopia is very optimistic about her chances at the contests this year. More so because the pageant is being organised in conjunction with the 2005 Expo in Japan and is a wonderful chance to show Ethiopia?s culture to the world again.
Dina has shown that a positive mental attitude is also required to win international contests, not just good looks alone, and she is an example to all young Ethiopians the world over who dream of representing Ethiopia in any international event, she never forgot her duty, and that she was representing her country, and represented Ethiopia very well.
Dina follows the continued success for our young Ethiopian models and beauty queens who have under the exclusive sponsorship and guidance of the Ethiopian Life Foundation and it President Mr Andy, proudly represented Ethiopia at several International Tourism events this year and in several previous years.
